Aloe Vera can be planted indoors or outdoor. It will grow faster outdoor than indoor, but definitely makes a good indoor plant.
Use well-drained sandy potting soil with a good quality of commercial potting mix or organic manure.
Don’t water the Aloe Vera plant too often. Allow the soil to become fairly dry before watering. Lightly water during rainy months since the drying out will be slower.
The uses of Aloe vera plants :
The gel from aloe vera can be taken or rub onto the skin. It can be used as a treatment for:
- coughs
- ulcers
- muscle pain
- headaches
- cancer and HIV
- relief of constipation
- to treat burns and minor bruises
- soothes inflammation
- pain relief
- minor wounds
- treats scalds and insect bites moisturize and soften the skin.
- relieve itching and swelling of irritated skin.
- kill fungus and bacteria
